This glossary gives γυμνοσάλιαγκας, i.e. γυμνος "naked" σαλιαγκας "snail". That's all I can find online. I don't know whether it's the same word that was used in antiquity.
This page, however, claims that fear of slugs is called agriolimaxophobia. ("Agriolimax" is the genus name of the common slug, but I don't know its derivation.)
hey! they're hedging in on my turf! :P Sounds right to me... then again, my Greek is a pitiful, pitiful thing, as I will prove to the world tomorrow in my evil, slithy Demosthenes exam... *homer s. impersonation* ST00pid orators...
I don't think that there is a technical term for a slug phobia. I just looked through my book on phobias and didn't find one. (I searched for phobias of slugs, snails, and mollusks.) I also checked http://www.phobialist.com/ - no dice. :-\
