Dear slugmuffin,
I'm so very sorry, but the gigantic moderately-sized long-legged jumping monster of d00m cricket that lives under the couch has not been removed. I attempted to catch it, despite it's spidery appearance, but it kept jumping, trying to bite my nose, no doubt. So I left it. And now, I'm going to bed, three hours later than I intended, out of shame for not being able to catch a simple insect.
Love,
pooky

dogs are good monster-of-doom hunters. i haven't seen a cricket since i moved the dogs in.

zoe, of course, has been attacking the bumblebees as of late. (sigh)

You should bring her a bouquet of flowers to make up for your cat 'faux-paw' They'd look great in the middle of the dining room table.

I would if I knew which flowers (if not all of them) are on the hazard list. In the meantime, I'll just have to ply her with alcohol...Jos is the cutest drunk I've ever seen!
