(no subject)

this morning, i was sitting the bathroom, noticing the trail of blood... and it came to me...
my period comes on little cat feet

oh, but it doesn't. no, no, no. my period comes with pincers that pull and claw, with massive amounts of digestive distress, and an overall feeling of blah.

i like the fact that i get my period, i just wish it wouldn't torment me so.

and i hope that it's settled down to not-much by saturday, because there's nothing worse than being on one's period at an amusement park. those restrooms are scary.7

i've noted that full-moon bleeders tend to get worse cramps... it's the tides in your belly!

i need to do some interviews on this, and see if time-of-moon-cycle makes a difference to everyone the way it does me...

When I'll aligned with the full-moon I'm just fine. I have the easiest periods ever. When I'm off-cycle like I am right now.... Yikes. They do tend to stick around for a while longer when I'm on the full-moon though.

I like that phrase, "The tides in your belly." It's kind of pretty.

have you ever been a newmooner? that's the most comfortable place for me... full moon into 1st quarter gets me like nothing else.

i was only regular from 13-15 of 16. i was either a newmooner or a fullmooner--i don't remember. the cramps were bad then, but not like now. since 16, i've been irregular as fuck, except for 18-24, when i was on the pill. and i can't remember when my period came then--i lived in DC and couldn't see the sky.

i do spend a LOT of time in moonlight now. i keep the blinds open at night... and the house unlit. and i'm outside looking up half the time. ;)

groan, you too? Isn't it weird how a lot of us lj-ers seem to be on the same schedule...

it's been a painful week for me too; I miss the years when I was back on birth control...

[identity profile] krasota.livejournal.com 2002-06-27 12:22 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah. i miss BC, too. i'm thinking about going back on it.

yes, i can't take high prog pills because they turn me into super bitch.

estro-heavy pills leave me very nauseous, more so than i already am.

but being incapacitated for 3-8 days on an irregular schedule (though this one is 28 days from the last--a first since i was 14) with diarrhea, cramps from hell, and dry heaves sucks, too.

the only thing stopping me is the fear that estrogen is contra-indicated with AI disorders and i'm convinced that my MCS, fibro, and CFIDS are AI-related. *sigh*

*hugs* for you. feel better soon. :)

i used to be on a full moon schedule, so it's not surprising that i'd return to one 10 years later. ;)@

Heh, my hormones have been whacked lately -- still not bleeding, but I'm carbo-loading/craving, I've gained two inches around the middle, and I think I'm going INSANE . . . :/

Here's to a brief, painless menses!!
