Ronan does not approve of the babygate at the bottom of the stairs. He also does not approve of diaper changes, mommy not sharing her tea, and any attempts to block him from licking the toilet or poking electrical outlets.

I can only hope that some day he'll develop some sort of self preservation instinct, though I'm not sure how that will happen without getting shocked at least once. ;)

I learned about electricity when I was 3 years old and plugged in the Xmas lights - while gripping the brass prongs with my thumb and fore finger.

My dad tells me that when I was about 2, I used to pretend to put my fingers in sockets, only to burst into laughter when he'd get nervous and rush to stop me. I even made up a song about putting fingers in sockets, just to taunt him. Your post just reminded me of that... not remembering doing it, just remembering my dad telling me about it.
