After getting coffee,

eilonwy, and I stopped by

red_frog's house to visit with her cats. We met her brother and chatted while smothering three of the four kitties with attention. The mosquitoes found me, however, and the combination of cat allergy + asian tiger mosquitoes was making my skin start to rumble, so we headed home, where I stripped off my tights and quickly planted a few herbs that needed to be in the ground right this instant. I got a couple more bites and ran indoors to wash my legs and oil them down. I took an antihistamine, but the itching may well drive me insane. My throat/palate are itching horribly, too, which is generally a sign that I've driven my immune system insane.

Anyhow, it was lovely to chat with

eilonwy and

nannar at *$. We chatted about lots of different things. Soon, I'll need to mix up a GF choccy cake and take it over to Bri's to bake. I should also whip up a pasta salad or something. I can take some bean salad, too.

This bbq will be fun if my body stops with the welts and maddening itch. AUGH!

They were happy to be visited. Austin even got enough attention to be sick of it. He laid down behind Tom and swatted at him if anyone so much as *looked* his way. Then he decided to retreat to the top of the steps and bathe himself.

Jenna liked the kitties quite a bit--she's one of those crazy cat people.

Yeah... I really do turn into a 5 year old upon meeting new kitties.
