We went down to Vintage Virginia Apples this weekend and bought a peck of apples. The Virginia Gold are incredible.

Large, juicy, crisp, sweet with a tang of autumn. Excellent apple or eating out of hand or for slicing and having with cheese.

Nope, that was Carter Mountain Orchard, up above town. :) Vintage Virginia is south of town, cradled by wee mountains/large hills.
