Okay, my traditional marriage tee by legomancer, from zazzle, arrived today.
As far as fitted women's baby tees go, I've seen better fit. This is a Bella XL women's fit baby doll. It's high quality cotton, which is good. The HanesHerWay lifestyle baby tee (used by
originalcynic) is more form fitting, with more busty accomodations. The zazzle one is *almost* fine for the bust, but the image transfer is a bit stretched. It's not form-fitting through the waist area, rather more boxy, so it hangs/bunches a little. I prefer form-fit, like the HanesHerWay (XL, babydoll style), St John's Bay (long sleeve, small, in the women's department), and the tshirts I ordered with the vulva heart (I can't find my laundry pile right now and can't remember what shirt company was used, but I like the fit of the long-sleeve women's shirt).
For 20+ bucks, I'd expect something with a higher quality image transfer--heck, for that much, I'd probably prefer screen printing. I understand that's not feasible with small batch orders, though, and won't really count it against the company. (I don't hold the designer responsible at all--I'm sure zie just wanted to find a way to get these made without losing too much cash.)
I'm happy with the design, but if I had to do it again, I'd just make my own transfer with my own tshirt and mail the designer 10 bucks (more than he's probably getting from zazzle) with my apologies, along with an assurance that I won't make any more for anyone else.
Maybe later, I can take a picture. Right now, I need to brush my teeth and get to Scottsville.
