free to a good home
Available to local folks, particularly ones who will come and fetch them within the week:
Imajica, Clive Barker. hardback, first edition, fair condition (some scuffs and watermarking on cover, no dustjacket
From Fatigued to Fantastic, Jacob Teitelbaum, MD. softcover, excellent to good condition, stupid book that lots of people like
Song of Solomon, Toni Morrison. softcover, good condition.
(the first and last are doubles in our collection. we wouldn't get rid of them otherwise.)
we also have some other books, mostly stupid vampire fiction and a PD James hardcover. they're going to the recycling center to be dumped in the book trailer tomorrow afternoon unless i hear otherwise.
i've also got some stuff going to goodwill. there's a black velvet dress shirt (button up) and a brown velvet embossed blouse. if someone wants them, lemme know. they fit my boobage of doom, so that should help you gauge the size. they might need buttons added or minor hem stitching.
the dining room is now clean--YAY! it needs to be swept. the bedroom needs a bit more work. the front room just needs slight tidying, nothing we can't do in 15 minutes. i'll save that for tomorrow.

How do you want to go about this, should I send you $ to ship them to me? I don't think you'd want to hold on to them until I come visit, that could be months. :/
As an aside.. Gabe talked to the detailers again at the base (this time in person). It's roughly 99% positive we're going to be moving to VA. We just have to watch for an open billet and apply for it. :)

there's also a dark green rayon shirt (subdued emerald), long sleeves, scoop neck, embroidery at neck, sleeves, and hem (all green)... it might need minor sewing at the cuffs. it's *just* too small for my boobs.
and, i have a black t-shirt style blouse, loose/boxy fitting, probably cotton/poly blend.
want those?
i did have another black blouse (think fitted black poly/rayon, middle-aged woman in black--made amusing corpgoth attire) in there, but it's definitely missing buttons and i probably still have them somewhere, so i need to set it aside.
yay for VA! would that likely be Norfolk or up north?

Sure. :) My closet will thank you graciously. :)
As for moving.. we're hoping for Norfolk (and targeting it as our first choice as well) but we've indicated that we'll take anything on the East Coast. Bethesda, MD could also be an option. From my understanding, talking to the detailer and specifying Virginia makes huge difference between those who know wat they want and go for it and those who will just take whatever is available. We apparently fall into the former category. :)

I'll trade you for the Celtic books i'm holding hostage. ;P
Btw, I find out next Fri. whether or not I got the grant.

So, I was curious as to what made you come to your conclusion. :)
