Adelphia is having email issues. (Yes, I checked their online network status.) No relaying is going through and I can't even access adelphia webmail (though, to be fair, I rarely use it, so I'm not sure if I had the right addy). They're working to resolve the problem.
Anyhow, boy is not working on the front yard and I'm not dressed or be-lensed. Ah, well.
I'm getting a headache from the smell of the green stuff he's cutting.

I also noticed that the Adelphia cable 'net connection, at least in L.A., is not the most stable.

The connectivity has improved out here. Occasionally it will suck, especially with all the intense rain we've had this year. And then there was the issue where the local box or whatever kept running out of IP addies to allocate, which resulted in frequent downtime, which could be remedied by unplugging and plugging back in the modem... this, of course, would knock a neighbor off, who would then do the same thing... boing boing boing.
It's our *only* local cable option and the phone lines are too old for DSL right here.
For TV, we use Dish network, which *does* lose signal during bad storms, but i probably shouldn't have the tv/receiver/vcr/dvd/playstation plugged in then, anyhow.

Heh. Funny. My Adelphia net connection crashed for a half hour earlier today. I don't know about the SMTP server though, my mail is on a friends linux box.
