I know, it's hard to believe, but we do keep the Super Bowl on... I don't watch it. I sit beside boy and websurf. Or I cook carrot cake.

He calls me in for the commercials.

I know that Canada is in North America, but there's something wrong with Celine Dion singing God Bless America. Well, there's something wrong with Celine Dion being allowed to sing at all, but that's another issue.

I despise football, but I love silly commercials.

I curled my lip at Celine throughout that song. "God bless America, my home sweet home." *boggle*

But the Dixie Chicks were a good choice for the anthem.

I like the Dixie Chicks' video for their cover of "Changes" (is that the name of the song?). The brunette Chick is pregnant and very radiant. It's neat to see a pregnant musician in a video. Of course, she's a lot taller and slimmer than a lot of pregnant women, so maybe that's why. Still, I think it's neat to see.

Have you seen this? http://www.livejournal.com/talkpost.bml?journal=foxtrot_feed&itemid=6357

Greg has decided that he needed to see the game so I told him to fix my PC. He's working on it now as I do the laundry :)

I agree wholeheartedly. While Celine sung the song nicely, I still maintain that she is Evil and Must Be Destroyed.

The one commercial that had me laughing hysterically along with my brother was the one for ... Bud, I think. The guy in the upside down clown suit.

Then again, potty humor and such always makes me laugh. Always.

I'm glad I missed Celine Dion singing. She makes me nervous. ;-)
