*yawn*

i'm very tired.

for some reason, i always procrastinate when it comes to my latin homework. i do it at the last minute on tuesday night... this is insane. i used to love to do my language homework... i'd do it well ahead of the due date.

since i don't finish it early, if something comes up that interferes with sitting down and working on tuesday (like, say, buffy buffy or buffy)... the latin doesn't get done. it didn't get done last week because i went to indiana and spent all my available energy prior to leaving on packing.

ah, well.

i finished it. yar.

i'm incredibly tired. woke up at 8:30 tuesday morning... i should go sleep now.

are you taking a latin class or is this study on your own? (yes, I had to look this up on an online dictionary! :P)

Welcome back from your trip. Hope overall you had a great time. and congrats on the car--that's wonderful news to be able to transport yourself. (even with my car, I can't often drive, but it's still nice to know it's there)

:)

it's a group study. informal, but guided. we turn in assignments weekly (or less often during holidays) and a collation is posted we can use to compare. we're all on a list which has people at different levels/types of latin study. there's medieval latin, classical, translations of poetry and literature, etc. :)

that's our moderator's (for my group) page. i'm in the 2001 wheelock's session.

i really liked it. i asked boy if i could get the books so i could learn latin. it will be useful for me when i do some genealogical stuff (i'll need to work on medieval latin for that) and it's a language i've always wanted to learn. *plus* it helps keep my brain from rotting.

brain fog does make it difficult sometimes, but i know that i *need* to use my brain or it will start to slowly turn to complete fog. a lifetime of study might help me stay somewhat coherent. :)
