(no subject)

boy sits within voice range of me during the day. i'm often on the futon watching tv or playing on the computer, he sits in his office/library, on the other side of the wall behind the tv. we're separated by 12 feet at the most.

when he walks through the doorway in that wall, drops off his backpack on the video rocker beside the door, and waves at me, i jump up and shriek gleefully: "welcome home!"

sometimes i ask him how the commute was. and i ask if the office was crowded today. i ask him if he remembered to buy some milk on the way home... it's silly.

But do you msg each other instead of talking by voice?

Just for the record, I think it sounds idyllic and would gladly trade a limb or two for something similar one day. You two rawk. It keeps me optimistic :>

I can't wait until Kyle and I both have computers set up in the new house, so we can instant-message each other again :D
