Busy busy. Packing away.

I'm in the "leaving for NJ tomorrow, must do all the laundry in the house now" frenzy that forms my pre-departure ritual.

I have all the current clean laundry folded and (mostly) put away. I'm about to go outside to get the last few random items out of the trunk so that it can be made ready for suitcases and dogfood. I still need to wash dog blankets and baby clothes. Tomorrow, I'll bathe Jericho and keep the urchin awake all day.

We're heading up tomorrow and will stay until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I really hate the traffic on the Eastern Corridor around this holiday, so we go up early and stay late. And Friday night traffic is always a bitch, so we're leaving Thursday evening.

Tonight we need to buy eggs and travel snacks. Mmmm, tings.
