*twitch*

There is a special place in hell for people who use large machinery to break up sidewalk concrete at 7:30am.

I think I'll go rub poison ivy all over their porta potty seat.

You should add a layer of icy-hot to the seat, too.

Excellent idea.

I love the way you think.

I like to use my table saw at 3am.. good thing we are not neighbours :)

Do you use it outdoors, within 25 feet of someone's bedroom window?

I think it's unreasonable to cause loud noises early in the morning. My windows are *closed* and I run an air purifier 24/7, sometimes a fan, too. No AC or heat right now.

If I can hear noise that wakes me up from a sound sleep, it's too loud.

I run it in my garage, sometimes with the doors open, but its not loud enough to disturb my neighbours.. but I feel your pain (when verizon came around to drop fiber into the ground.. they seemed to like to start work at 6am....)

I think the noise ordinances here must say "no construction that involves breaking up concrete before 7 am," because piledrivers on the the freeway construction in our neighborhood never started before 6:45. (Mind you, the machines that tore down the sound walls did so at 3 am, I suppose they didn't want to have to detour traffic mid-day.)

Throughout that process (which isn't finished, but they've been working on the quieter parts lately) I couldn't help but think that we live a block away from it all, while people who live down the street from us have it, quite literally, along their back fences.

I hope yours is only for today! Because that sucks.

They've been outside our window at 7 am every day except for Sunday..for a MONTH! They are tearing up the street up to our house and around the corner (we are a corner house)...it is taking forever and we are NOT morning people...and it is impossible to sleep through...ugh.

You are being to kind to the workers some people are not allergic to poison ivy. The coating should be made of a mix of poison Ivy, poison Oak and poison Sumac extracts and mixed with some concentrated juices of hot peppers like Thai or Habaneros. We use pepper water as a squirrel repellent. Might just work on construction workers.

Hope they are not around for very long.

I love the comment with the icon. That look on his face is priceless.
