i whacked some weeds. i did part of the front yard and the areas around the old stone foundation from the previous house which burned down.
i also slaughtered some fledgling staghorn sumac at the end of the driveway. i feel horrid, but better they die young than later in the year, after they suffer through the drought and, surviving that, get mowed down.
the ragweed was ruthlessly slaughtered. it was just too close to the house. it was taken and dumped by the fence row, where it will no doubt manage to seed and flourish. ah, well, the wind rarely blows from the north. ;)
thistle was knocked out by the roots. hopefully that will suffice.
i have no energy to go after all the crabgrass. i might decide to sit outside, but that sun is awfully strong and i'm not sure i *should* test the photoallergy during mid-day.
now i'm all stinky and sweaty. woohoo!
i should sleep well tonight.
