His first movie!

We took Ronan out to the movies tonight. I didn't have time to pump before the film, so we had to take him with. Fortunately, the theater was very small, with a handicap ramp/seat immediately in front of the back row. So we sat there and nobody sat in front of us. I could rock him, sway with him, etc. He ate and slept, ate and slept. He got antsy, but he was quiet.

He did, however, get bored as soon as the previews were over. I fed him, then stood up and rocked him to sleep . . . repeated an hour later.

Movie was fun. Harry Potter--had to see it before it disappeared from the theaters. :)

Awww. Did you keep the ticket stubs? :)

The first movie I remember seeing in the theater (at age 6) was Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend, but I'm almost sure there were a few before that. :) Movies were a pretty big indulgence for us, though, so it's possible that it might've been the first.

My first movie memory is when I was 3 or 4, and my dad and I sat through *two* showings of "Walt Disney's Fantasia".

How was Harry Potter?

When Kevin was a bit over 2 months old, I took him to his first movie. The remake of Red Dragon. :-) Wildly inappropriate, but it was my birthday and no one else wanted to see the movie with me.

Glad it went smoothly!

Dom and I went to go see that this last week...did you read the books?

One of my first movies I really remember was Princess Bride shown at the old Universal big screens...they're tore down now...

Good to know this is possible. :)

We still have to work on first trip to the mall. And first trip to a wedding... Catholic at that...

But soon! Hey, if you want to have a baby summit on Sunday or Monday afternoon, maybe give me a call on my cell. :)

We're leaving for VA on Sunday, Tom works on Monday. We might have to aim for another time, since I imagine you won't want to drive down here on Sunday after a full day on Saturday. What time is your wedding tomorrow?

2:30 pm. Hmmm.
