Stop calling me the turdy one!
Boy is making me dinner.
The menu:
• dry aged NYS steak with a cognac mustard sauce
• mashed celeriac, turnips, and redskin potatoes
• garlicky braised chard
I made dessert. I don't have a name for it. The crust is made of amaretti and lemon poppyseed biscotti, pulverised with butter. The next layer is creamy, cheesy, sweetened goodness. And it's topped by what boils down to lemon curd, I guess. I expect it will be divine. Perhaps I'll call it Curd on a Cloud! *snorts*
I suppose I can elbow in there and make us some iced tea. I don't feel like wine.
