i should pay attention to my inner voice.
Tonight, my inner voice said "put the crockpot on low and go to bed. boy can turn it off in the morning."
Instead, I decided to stay up til nearly 3am, when the food will be finished. Now it's gone too long on high for me to switch it to low for several hours.
I am often stupid. I'm contemplating digging out an old light timer so that I can just plug the crockpot into that, but I'm not sure I could find one. If I do find one, I'm not sure I can set it properly while this tired.
ah, well. i'll just sit here and watch VH1.
