daq42 was kind enough to loan us the necessary tools to back up stuff from the faulty iBook. The iBook will be shipped to Apple tomorrow and we should have it back (or a new iBook) within a week or two.

I've read lots of books in the downtime. I mean, what else am I gonna do--unpack? Heck, no, there's a heat advisory outside. I need to sit in the cool air conditioned rooms, enjoying my couch recliner.
