we got a decent sized one @ toys-r-us for $60 -on sale- & we use it almost every single day (we also go pool hopping @ an apartment complex @ night...free!!).
its not really big enough to do laps or anything but its certainly deep enough for you to be able to do the kind of stretching exercises that wont put too much strain on your muscles but are still beneficial. plus, its nice to be able to cool off in it on 90+degree days.
you can also control how much chemistry goes into the water & how often its changed whereas @ a public pool, you have no idea whats going in there.
also, i was wondering if youd heard of this service? is it in driving distance for you guys? we've been seriously thinking about making a weekly trip down there & picking up boxes for several ppl here in MI & ourselves since its only 5 hours away.
